Musical genres are an academic classification of music according to certain criteria or parameters. The instrumentation and usefulness of these works are evaluated. Subsequently, other criteria such as cultural particularities, the historical-geographical environment or design are integrated. The classification subdivides the types of music according to the instrumentation in vocal or instrumental music and according to the intention of the piece. In itself, it is not usually known what the most listened to genre is since it depends a lot on the source consulted, but if we pay attention to Spotify, the most listened to musical genres in Spain would be: rap, trap, reggaeton and, behind them, the pop. But the most listened to in the world are Rap, K-Pop, Rock, Electronic Music, Pop, Classical Music, Country, Metal, Folk, Flamenco, Jazz, Salsa, Blues, Reggaeton, Reggae and Punk. We can also find people who do not listen to music, this would happen because they do not have a specific musical genre or they simply do not like it.
